I’ve test driven the Beta version and also the Release Preview as well and I’m not sure that this new OS is will be running on a lot of mainstream PCs anytime soon. Like other reviews, I think Microsoft is basing Windows 8 on a tablet platform and wants to compete with Apple. This OS is more for an All-in-One PC with touch screen.
